A. Lorne Weil
Executive Chairman

Mr Weil is the Executive Chairman of Inspired Entertainment, Inc and was the co-sponsor and founder of Inspired’s predecessor, Hydra Industries Acquisition Corp, and previously served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Weil has been a principal of Hydra Management, an investment vehicle he formed, since September 2014. Mr. Weil was Chairman of the Board of Scientific Games Corporation (and its predecessor Autotote Corporation) from October 1991 to November 2013. Mr. Weil also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Scientific Games Corporation (and its predecessor Autotote Corporation) from 1992 to 2008 and from November 2010 to November 2013 (Mr. Weil had retired in 2008) and as the President from August 1997 to June 2005. Under Mr. Weil’s stewardship, the company made a number of significant acquisitions and joint ventures, including the privatization of the off-track betting operations of the State of Connecticut, and the acquisitions of Scientific Games Holdings Corp., IGT Online Entertainment Systems, Global Draw and WMS Industries, and the privatization of the Illinois, New Jersey and Italian lotteries. Prior to joining Scientific Games, Mr. Weil was President of Lorne Weil, Inc., a firm he founded which provided strategic planning and corporate development services to technology-based industries, a role he maintained from 1979 to November 1992. From 1974 to 1979, Mr. Weil was Vice President — Corporate Development at General Instrument Corporation. From 1970 to 1974, Mr. Weil was a manager with the Boston Consulting Group. Mr. Weil received his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto, an M.S. degree from the London School of Economics and an M.B.A. from Columbia University, where he served for more than 10 years on the Board of Overseers. In 2012, Mr. Weil was the sponsor and Chairman of the Board of Andina Acquisition Corp., a NASDAQ-listed blank check company and is currently the Chairman of its successor entity, Tecnoglass Inc. Mr. Weil has been Executive Chairman of Leisure Acquisition Corp., a blank check company, since September 2017.

Brooks Pierce
Chief Operating Officer and President
Mr. Brooks H. Pierce, who has been in the gaming industry for over 25 years, is currently the President and COO of Inspired Entertainment. Mr. Pierce was formerly the CEO of BHP Consulting Group, LLC. Prior to leading his consulting business, Mr. Pierce was the Managing Director of the America’s at Aristocrat Technologies from 2015-2017. Prior to Aristocrat, Mr. Pierce was Chief Revenue Officer for the gaming division of Scientific Games from 2012 to 2015. From 2010 to 2012, Mr. Pierce was the President and Chief Business Development Officer for Sportech PLC, a UK based gaming equipment and systems supplier. From 1991 to 2010, Mr. Pierce held various roles within Scientific Games Corporation including Senior Vice President of Marketing and President of Scientific Games Racing. Mr. Pierce is currently a Member of the Advisory Board of Leading Edge Ventures, a Wilmington, Delaware based venture capital fund, as well as an Advisory Board Member of the Horn Entrepreneurial School at the University of Delaware.  Mr. Pierce received his BA from the University of Delaware and is a graduate of the Columbia Business School Senior Executive Program.
Daniel Silvers
EVP and Chief Strategy Officer

Mr. Silvers serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, Inspired. He is also the Founder and Managing Member of Matthews Lane Capital Partners LLC. He has previously served on the boards of directors of International Game Technology, Universal Health Services, Inc., digital entertainment plc, Forestar Group, Inc., Ashford Hospitality Prime, Inc. and India Hospitality Corp., as well as serving as President of Western Liberty Bancorp, an acquisition-oriented company which bought and recapitalized Service1st Bank of Nevada, a community bank in Las Vegas, NV. In 2015, Mr. Silvers was featured in the National Association of Corporate Directors' "A New Generation of Board Leadership: Directors Under Age 40" list of emerging corporate directors. Previously, Mr. Silvers was the President of SpringOwl Asset Management LLC, having joined a predecessor entity in 2009. Previously, Mr. Silvers was a Vice President at Fortress Investment Group, a leading global alternative asset manager, where he worked from 2005 to 2009. Prior to joining Fortress, he was a senior member of the real estate, gaming and lodging investment banking group at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., where he worked from 1999 to 2005. Mr. Silvers holds a B.S. in Economics and an M.B.A. in Finance from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He has also received a Corporate Governance certification through the Director Education & Certification Program at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Mr. Silvers is active in several not-for-profits, including Horace Mann School, University of Pennsylvania, UJA-Federation of New York and The Lustgarten Foundation.

Stewart Baker
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Baker serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Inspired, having joined the business in September 2014. Previously, Mr. Baker served as Director of Finance for Inspired from October 2015 to January 2017 and as Group Financial Controller from September 2014 to October 2015. From 2009 to 2014, Mr. Baker was employed by Experian Plc, a leading global information services company, serving in various positions, including Divisional Financial Controller. Mr. Baker previously worked as a Chartered Accountant at Deloitte LLP. Mr. Baker holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Sheffield (UK), where he was awarded the Knoop Prize.

Lee Gregory
Chief Commercial Officer VLT and ETG

Mr. Gregory serves as Chief Commercial Officer, VLT and ETG, Inspired, having joined the business in 1984. Previously, Mr. Gregory served as Inspired’s Senior Vice President for the UK market from 2012 to 2015 and as Managing Director for Bingo and Casino from September 2008 to September 2012. Mr. Gregory has more than thirty years of experience in the European retail gaming sector with over twenty years in Game and Product Delivery. Mr. Gregory holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

Steve Rogers
CCO Digital Games

Mr. Rogers serves as Chief Commercial Officer, Digital Games, Inspired, and has over fifteen years of experience in the Virtual Sports industry. Prior to joining Inspired, Mr. Rogers held the role of Chief Operating Officer of Red Vision Limited, a technology company acquired by Inspired in 2006. Mr. Rogers is a qualified accountant and holds the ACMA qualification.

Under Mr. Rogers’ leadership, Inspired’s Virtual Sports business has grown to offer world leading Virtual Sports and Numbers Games to more than 40,000 retail venues and over 100 websites in over 30 countries. Mr. Rogers has also been integral in the growth of Inspired’s digital business, which supplies premium HTML5 content to a growing number of operators in the US, UK, Gibraltar and other regulated markets.

Tariq Tufail
Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Tufail serves as Chief Technology Officer, Inspired, having joined the business in January 2007 as a Senior Software Developer. Mr. Tufail held the position of Chief Architect for four years before taking on the role of Vice President of Software Delivery in 2011. As Chief Technology officer he is responsible for the architecture, development and delivery of software for all platform products. Mr. Tufail graduated with First Class Honors and a BSc in Computer Science from the University of Wales, Bangor.

Steven Collett
Chief Product Officer

Mr. Collett serves as Chief Product Officer, Inspired, having joined the business in 2002. Prior to being appointed Chief Product Officer in 2016, Mr. Collett served as Inspired’s VP of Content and Innovation from November 2015 to July 2016 and Director of Product Innovation from November 2013 to November 2015. As Chief Product Officer Mr. Collett is responsible for all the content and innovations across Inspired’s Mobile and VLT divisions. 

Lorna Evans
VP People and Organisational Development

Ms Evans serves as VP People and Organisational Development, Inspired, having joined the business in 2011. Previously, Ms Evans served as Inspired’s Head of Investment Control from 2011 to 2013 and VP Software Development in a transformational, non-technical role from 2013 to 2015.

Ms Evans has over 25 years’ experience in international operational people related and M&A roles. As VP People, Ms Evans is responsible for transformational people initiatives, people related transactional and legislative elements across Inspired.

Carys Damon
General Counsel

Ms. Damon serves as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary, Inspired, having joined the business in 2012. Prior to being appointed General Counsel in 2017, Ms. Damon served as Assistant General Counsel from 2015 to 2017 and as Legal Counsel from 2012 to 2015.

Prior to joining Inspired Ms. Damon held the role of Senior Associate at Marriott Harrison LLP in the Media & Technology Department advising clients predominantly in the music, film and television industries on a host of commercial and intellectual property matters, both contentious and non-contentious.

Ms. Damon is a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales and a member of the New York State Bar. As General Counsel Ms. Damon is responsible for Inspired’s legal and compliance functions.
